A superior upgrade is available for Rooms 1, 2 and 5 for a further £4 pp / pn

Superior upgrade includes:  bathrobes, bath sheets, daily fresh fruit, use of chiller and access to DVD library.

Prices are based on two people sharing.  A supplement applies for single occupancy of a double room.

All prices include breakfast.

We have a minimum stay policy of two nights, however if we can, we will always try to squeeze you in, give us a call!

Terms and Conditions

Deposit / Credit Card

We require a deposit of one nights accommodation per person in order to secure the room.

Arrival / Departure Times

For the convenience of incoming guests, we require rooms to be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure. Later departure times may, however, be possible on request. Earliest arrival time is 3.00pm (except by prior arrangement). Please telephone us if you anticipate arriving after 6.30pm, otherwise your room may be re-let.

Cancellation

We respectfully remind our guests that a reservation, whether written or verbal, constitutes a legal contract.

All reservations must be secured with a non-refundable deposit of one nights accommodation per person.

To prevent any financial loss to yourself due to cancellation, we do stress the importance of taking out travel insurance.

Every effort will be made to re-let the accommodation in the event of a cancellation, but if you have to cancel your stay for whatever reason, the right is reserved to make a cancellation charge of up to 100% of the balance as follows.

Charges:

                 

21 days prior to day of arrival: 25%  of total balance

7 - 20 days prior to day of arrival: 50%  of total balance

6 - 1 day prior to day of arrival: 75%  of total balance

Arrival day or later: 100%  of total balance

The period of notice is taken from 1.00pm on proposed day of arrival.

The cancellation charge will be offset against any deposit held. An invoice for the balance will be sent to the name and address supplied for the booking or charged to the credit/debit card number given for the deposit . 

    

Payment

We prefer payment of your final account by cash, cheque or debit card. If paying by cheque, this should be made payable to ‘Cleave Court Guest House’.  Payments by credit card carry a 2.5% surcharge.

Reservations

We respectfully remind you that a verbal or written reservation constitutes a legal contract.

Damage

In the event of damage to Guest House property, we reserve the right to charge to replace, repair or professionally clean the item concerned.  There will be a charge of £15.00 for lost keys.

Guests are respectfully requested not to eat take away food in their room.

Non-Smoking Policy

In the interest of the comfort and safety of our guests, we operate a strict ‘Non-Smoking’ policy throughout the Guest House. In the event of non-compliance, guests will be asked to leave without a refund.  A charge of £50 may also be levied for professional cleaning of the room.
